The Irrigation Australia Conference aims to provide a platform for the irrigation industry and the broad range of other stakeholders to address the key future challenges and opportunities facing the irrigation industry and to share their knowledge and experience to provide a sustainable future focused on the efficient use of water and adoption of new technology.

The organising committee for the Irrigation Australia Conference have selected a conference theme and topics that specifically identify with irrigation issues in Australia.

ICID 24th International Congress - 3 to 10 October 2022

Congress Theme: Innovation and research in agriculture water management to achieve sustainable development goals 

ICID has been organizing its flagship triennial event International Congress on Irrigation and Drainage since 1951. The 1st ICID Congress was held in 1951 at Delhi and so far ICID has held 23 Triennial Congresses. The 24th International Congress on Irrigation and Drainage and the 73rd International Executive Council meeting is being organised by Irrigation Australia’s Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (IACID) on the theme ‘Innovation and Research and In Agricultural Water Management to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals’ from 03 October to 10 October 2022, in Adelaide, Australia at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
