IAL Position Papers
IAL is the peak national organisation representing the Australian whole irrigation industry chain ranging from water providers, professional irrigation design and installation service providers, to irrigation equipment suppliers and irrigators in both rural and urban environments. IAL represents the united voice of the irrigation industry and is the prime source of technically credible irrigation related knowledge for the benefit of all Australian stakeholders, including governments and policy makers, members of the irrigation industry and the general public.
IAL represents the irrigation industry through many avenues, including at conferences, forums and through submissions to government on key matters affecting the irrigation industry across Australia. IAL’s submissions on key issues at national and state level are available from this page.
Importantly, IAL does not undertake political lobbying. The information and IAL positions contained in documents on this webpage are technically credible, well researched, defensible positions which seek to inform the reader about irrigation related matters.
